Tue, October 8, 2024, 6:30 PM (MST)
About this event
Many speakers struggle to build meaningful connections that lead to consistent bookings, often due to fear or uncertainty in initiating interactions with event organizers and audiences.
Drawing on his TEDx experience and a unique approach called ETC (Excuse to Connect), Richard will show speakers how to intentionally create opportunities to interact with event organizers, audiences, and peers in meaningful ways.
By exploring a series of relatable principles, including Shifting Your Mindset and Approaching with an Invitation, Richard will help attendees overcome fears and build genuine rapport, even in high-stakes professional environments. He will share real-life examples, from using playful icebreakers to creating impactful moments of connection, demonstrating how these techniques lead to stronger relationships and more speaking opportunities.
