Join Island folk singer-songwriter Shane Pendergast as he brings PEI's beloved Jack Pine Folk Club to the Trailside stage for an unforgettable night of music and poetry. The evening features Maukin, a bold new folk collective from the Island. Drawing from Irish, Scottish, and Acadian traditions, Maukin’s sound is crafted by the musical talents of Rowen Gallant (fiddle), Nick vanOuwerkerk (pipes/whistles), Jesse Périard (guitar), and Caleb Gallant (bodhrán/percussion). This group’s rich compositions and innovative arrangements promise to transport audiences through a sonic journey of their Atlantic heritage.

Also performing is the hard-driving traditional fiddle and guitar duo Fiona MacCorquodale and Isaac King, as well as captivating poetry from Rose Henbest.
