So happy to have Dave & Daunt back at the Cafe for their 4th Battery gig but who's counting??

Dave Penny has been playing around St John's for nearly 30 years. He has performed in many Newfoundland and Labrador towns and festivals, the Mariposa Folk Festival in Ontario, and parts of New England.  He enjoys covering significant topics such as a shortage of mustard pickles, record-breaking snowstorms and fishing bait theft, and pens a few historical ballads and accordion tunes as well.

Since 2017 Dave has been performing and recording with multi-instrumentalist Daunt Lee, whose intricate guitar and mandolin playing adds another dimension to it all.

It's a joyous evening full of local songs and laughter. Don't miss it!

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.

Seats will be held for 15 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.
