Thursday May 1, 7-9 pm - MUN Songwriters Circle @ The Battery Cafe

Memorial University is pleased to announce the MUN Songwriters Circle. This intimate showcase of songs and stories by emerging and established musicians alike will be hosted at the cafe on the first Thursday of every month from 7 to 9 pm.

Hosted by MUN Writer-in-Residence Joel Thomas Hynes, with special guests to be announced.

This month Joel will be joined by Claire Porter and Avalon Stanley.

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.

Seats will be held for 15 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.

Cover charge go 100% to the artists except the Locarius fees. Refunds can be requested up to 1 day before the show date. Please contact Coffee@batterycafe.ca to request a refund.
