About this event
Our 2025 season launch returns home to Historic St. Mary’s with ‘Shakin’ The Shingles’. Hosted by PEI’s own Patrick Ledwell, the evening features a stacked line up of JUNO nominated acts from home and away. After capturing audiences with their expansive voice and unparalleled charm, 2022 Canada’s Got Talent runner up and 2023 ECMA Songwriter of the Year Kellie Loder is back from Newfoundland to serenade. The electrifying foursome The Fretless are redefining what a string quartet can be. With multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards to their name, this ensemble has toured extensively across Europe, North & South America and Australia, wowing with their contemporary twist on traditional music. Rounding out the bill is PEI trad trio Inn Echo, riding the high of their first JUNO nomination for Traditional Roots Album of the Year for ‘Hemispheres’. Inn Echo has appeared at folk festivals from Australia to Europe to right here at home at Small Halls, delighting audiences with their undeniable chemistry and Celtic flare. Join us ‘Under The Spire’ as we kick off The 2025 PEI Mutual Festival of Small Halls.
