About this event
With one of the most scenic backdrops of our 2025 halls, the Cymbria Lions Club hosts a cross-country collection of exceptional artists. In demand on folk festival stages is Plains-Cree singer-songwriter Wyatt C. Louis. Named one of CBCs 2024 ‘8 Indigenous Artists to Know’, the most recent album ‘Chandler’ from the Treaty 6 artist offers stunning vocals and a signature indie/roots spin on the country music ingrained in the geography of their childhood. Next, making their Small Halls debut this year is London, Ontario based group The Pairs. Soft, folky sibling harmonies and familial banter have made them festival favourites on international stages. Gearing up for their fourth studio album release, this delightful trio promises to pull you in. Concluding our Sandbar Sets, PEI ensemble Maukin will quench your Celtic thirst with their rich compositions and melodies, shaped from the cultural clay of their home province. Pulling from Irish, Scottish and Acadian tradition, this exciting new group leaves a lasting impression. Join us at the gateway to the North Shore for this tantalizing triple bill!
