A bit more about the artists:

Shane Pendergast

Shane Pendergast has folk music in his blood. Hailing from a long lineage of storytellers and musicians in Prince Edward Island, he is keeping the Maritime folk tradition alive with his honest and insightful compositions. From acclaimed folk festivals across the world to the small halls of PEI, Shane has cemented himself as one of Atlantic Canada’s finest folk troubadours. His 2021 album Second Wind won Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the Music PEI Awards, and in 2025 he released his fourth album Winter Grace, a deeply personal collection that captures both the joys and hardships of life in the Maritimes.

Meaghan Blanchard

“Meaghan Blanchard is truly an artist with a vision of how to use her wonderful voice and pair it up with songs that truly move you as a listener" is how she is described. She is a two time ECMA award winning and internationally touring songwriter with a plethora of Music PEI awards to her name. She is no stranger to PEI or to the Canadian music scene. Over the last 20 years she has toured Scotland, England and Canada, was a featured guest at the UK House of Commons, performed at the Cambridge Folk Festival, was a featured artist in "The Songs of Dolly Parton" at the Southern Fried Festival in Scotland alongside Yola, The McCrary Sisters, Amythyst Kiah and Della Mae, and a number of her songs have been featured on film and television across Canada.

Shane Pendergast

Shane Pendergast a la musique folk dans le sang. Issu d'une longue lignée de conteurs et de musiciens de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, il perpétue la tradition folklorique des Maritimes grâce à ses compositions honnêtes et perspicaces. Des festivals de folk acclamés dans le monde entier aux petites salles de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, Shane s'est imposé comme l'un des meilleurs troubadours folk du Canada atlantique. Son album Second Wind, sorti en 2021, a remporté le prix de l'album roots contemporain de l'année aux Music PEI Awards. En 2025, il a sorti son quatrième album, Winter Grace, une collection profondément personnelle qui capture à la fois les joies et les difficultés de la vie dans les Maritimes.

Meaghan Blanchard

“Meaghan Blanchard est une artiste qui sait comment utiliser sa voix et l'associer à des chansons qui vous touchent vraiment en tant qu'auditeur", c'est ainsi qu'on la décrit. Elle est une auteure-compositrice-interprète deux fois primée par l'ECMA et en tournée internationale, avec une pléthore de récompenses de Music PEI à son nom. Elle n'est pas étrangère à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard ni à la scène musicale canadienne. Au cours des 20 dernières années, elle a effectué des tournées en Écosse, en Angleterre et au Canada, a été invitée à la Chambre des communes du Royaume-Uni, s'est produite au Cambridge Folk Festival, a été l'une des artistes vedettes de "The Songs of Dolly Parton" au Southern Fried Festival en Écosse, aux côtés de Yola, The McCrary Sisters, Amythyst Kiah et Della Mae, et un certain nombre de ses chansons ont été reprises dans des films et à la télévision dans tout le Canada.
