To celbrate the BIS 200 year anniversary the Benevolent Irish Society (BIS) has created this special Intermediate Fiddle Workshop for fiddlers with Luka Hall.
Luka Hall is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter, guitarist, and fiddle player hailing from Prince Edward Island. Luka stands as a prodigious fiddle-playing virtuoso who has been performing since the age of 9, captivating audiences with his mesmerizing performances and establishing himself as a rising star in the vibrant island trad music scene. He has most recently stepped into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter, releasing two self-penned singles ‘When I Saw You’ and ‘The Flowers of Our Nature’.
In January of 2024, Luka showcased with Shane Pendergast at the “You’re Roots Are Showing” festival in Dundalk, Ireland.
Luka has performed at the PEI International Shellfish Festival, PEI Festival of Small Halls, Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival, Harmony House and the Irish Hall, as well as at numerous other events, including meetings and conventions, weddings, ceilidhs, etc.
Luka’s performances offer an array of country/folk songs and toe-tapping’ traditional fiddle sets.
