Join Tara MacLean, a forefront name in Canada's folk music scene, accompanied by two beloved islanders and friends: Ben Aitken and KINLEY!
Singer/songwriter Tara MacLean has been an internationally renowned and award winning recording and touring artist for over 25 years. She’s written and recorded seven solo albums and two with her band Shaye (with Kim Stockwood and Damhnait Doyle). Tara has been signed to Nettwerk Music Group, EMI Canada, Capitol US and Asia and Sony Music Publishing. In 2020, she received the SOCAN Songwriter of the Year award, as well as Solo Recording of the Year for her album “Deeper” at the Music PEI awards, and an ECMA nomination for Pop Album of the Year.
She released her first album with the Nettwerk Music Group in 1996 and Sony Music Publishing Canada. Since then has been signed with Capitol Records, and EMI Canada with her JUNO nominated band Shaye. She has written and recorded seven solo albums and two with the band.
Her first book, Song of the Sparrow, hit the Best Seller List the week it was released and Tara quickly followed up with “Sparrow” - the soundtrack for the book.

Kinley Dowling - KINLEY - is a skilled and sought-after collaborator at her core, sharing countless stages and recording credits with some of Canada’s best-known artists since her teens; now, PEI indie pop powerhouse KINLEY has adapted that approach into her solo work – and is delivering the most compelling material of her decorated career as a result. She has three full-length releases to her name.
Ben Aitken is a pianist/singer-songwriter based in Charlottetown, PEI. He plays and tours regularly with numerous PEI-based acts. Awarded 2022 Music PEI Musician of the Year, his session work as a pianist, vocalist and music arranger has been featured on multiple ECMA and Music PEI award winning albums.
