About Bayfield String Quartet:

The Bayfield String Quartet, known for their vibrant and engaging performances, is a dynamic ensemble that brings a fresh perspective to the string quartet tradition. Comprising four exceptional musicians—Karen Graves (violin), Kinley Dowling (violin), Jeffrey Bazett-Jones (viola), and Natalie Williams Calhoun (cello)—the quartet has quickly established itself in Charlottetown as one of the most compelling ensembles on the local chamber music scene. Each member of the Bayfield String Quartet brings a wealth of experience and individual artistry to the group. Together, they create a harmonious blend of voices that captivates audiences with its depth, clarity, and emotional power.

Formed in 2024, the Bayfield String Quartet has been busy performing for the Candlelight concert series, sharing intimate house concerts and creating new shows to present on Prince Edward Island and beyond. Their performances are marked by their attention to detail, commitment to innovation, and the palpable chemistry between the musicians.
