Abigail Joan made Saint John, NB her home just over three years ago, and since then, she has been embraced by a vibrant and supportive community. Her journey with music began as a young girl, crafting melodies on the sun porch of her family’s summer camp in Milcove, NB. She describes her music as something that has grown up with her—holding a corner of herself she can always return to when she picks up the guitar. 

During the pandemic, Abigail found herself drawn to folk music, finding solace in its introspective and nostalgic nature. Now I Know marks her debut into the folk music world—a single rooted in reflection and gratitude. This release is more than just a beginning; it’s a love letter to Saint John—a city that offered her hope, warmth, and a place to begin again. As she takes the stage for her release show, she is ecstatic to be joined by Singer-songwriter/ Cellist Leandra Gold of Mirimachi. She welcomes the community to join her at Wasted Day on Friday to celebrate her new single release!
