June 5, 2025 7-9pm - Kirk Wells play at The Battery Cafe

Kirk Wells has been writing songs for over 20 years, and began recording studio albums in 2020, starting with Dahlia, his MusicNL award-nominated debut.  His music style moves between genres, but are always melodic and thoughtful, with a certain emotional resonance. His first two albums (and self-recorded RPM album in 2025) are explorations of soundscapes and atmosphere, while his most recent EP "On the Shore" showcases his love of more traditional and organic styles of music. Come out for a relaxing evening as Kirk plays these newly recorded songs, plus many more!

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.

Seats will be held for 30 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.
