The Ceilidh at Irish Cultural Centre, 582 North River Road will feature performers Liam Corcoran and Nick Doneff.
As co-founder and lead singer of Charlottetown rock group Two Hours Traffic, Liam toured extensively at home and abroad and recorded 4 full-length albums. The group has won East Coast Music Awards and Music PEI awards, along with being shortlisted for the 2008 Polaris Music Prize. Since releasing his first solo effort in 2015 (ROM-DROM), Liam has continued to develop his blend of folk and indie-rock on Nevahland (2017), Giving Tree and Other Songs (2020), and most recently, Hints and Traces (2023). Nevahland was the recipient of ‘Best Pop Recording’ at the 2017 Music PEI Awards and Hints and Traces was recognized as ‘Best Rock Recording’ at the 2024 Music PEI Awards.
Nick Doneff is a Charlottetown-based musician and singer-songwriter who has recorded two full-length albums of under his own name. Nick is a current member of the indie rock band Two Hours Traffic, and he has worked as a side musician for a number of Prince Edward Island’s finest acts since moving to PEI from Ontario in 2013.
There will be a 50/50 draw and complimentary ‘lunch’ at intermission. The Hall is air-conditioned and licensed. Our elevator is currently out of service. Doors open at 6:30 pm with show at 7:30. Tickets at the door - $20 or $5 (12 and under). A portion of the proceeds will go to benefiting the society’s benevolent activities.
