Joel is an award-winning jazz saxophonist, arranger and composer who has played at the Montreal Jazz festival and toured with Jazz greats like Brian Blade. Joel's compositions, improvisations, albums and shows continue to be recognized with awards (Juno win 2012, ECMA 2012, 2016, 2021).
Magnus LaBillois is a graduate of St Francis Xavier's Music Department in jazz guitar. With a background in jazz, classical, and rock music, Magnus pulls from a diverse set of traditional and modern influences.
We are excited to present them at Salty Towers as it will mark their first collaboration together as a duo! What better place than the intimate setting of the Salty living room!
