Wednesday, October 29, 7–9 PM - Spooky Story Open Mic at the Battery Cafe, hosted by Culture & Tradition Journal

Step into the shadows with us for an evening of eerie tales. At this open mic, storytellers are invited to share their spookiest stories—whether whispered down through friends-of-friends, recited from memory, or read from the page. Original tales are encouraged, but we welcome retellings, too. Come to listen, or come to tell. With musical guests Lauren Shepherd and Eric Burry.

$5 - $20 tickets are available in advance, or PWYC (pay what you can) at the door.

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.

Seats will be held for 30 mins after the show start, after which they may be given to walk-ins. Tickets can also be transferred - login to https://locarius.io/.

Refunds can be requested up to 1 day before the show date. Please contact Coffee@batterycafe.ca to request a refund.
