About this event
We are thrilled to be bringing this new production to the beautiful St. Mary’s Church and making our debut with Under The Spire.
Experience the timeless music of two of the most beloved singer-songwriters in this heartfelt tribute to James Taylor and Carole King. Blending warm vocals, masterful musicianship, the show captures the intimate storytelling and gentle soul that defined a generation.
Audiences are taken on a nostalgic journey through the pair’s legendary catalogs— from Taylor’s soothing classics like “Fire and Rain,” “Sweet Baby James,” and “How Sweet It Is” to King’s iconic anthems “It’s Too Late,” “I Feel the Earth Move,” and “So Far Away.” The performance highlights an island cast of eleven musicians and vocalists. Featuring songs from their solo careers as well their historic Troubadour performances.
Rich harmonies, soothing melodies, orchestral arrangements, heartfelt storytelling, and the unmistakable songs that shaped the soundtrack of the ’70s, this show will have the audience reminiscing and rediscovering the magic of two legendary artists.
