The Atlantic Summer Institute (ASI) is currently engaged in a project to explore policy blind spots affecting perimenopausal and menopausal women and gender diverse people in Prince Edward Island. As part of this project, we are conducting focus groups with those experiencing, or who have experienced, perimenopause and menopause across PEI. This work will apply a Health in All Policies lens, recognizing how women’s health intersects with areas such as urban planning, healthcare, and workplace policy. This project is funded by the PEI Interministerial Women’s Secretariat. 

There is no cost to participate in this project, and focus group participants will receive a $10 gift card as a thank you. Reimbursement for childcare and transportation is also available upon request, and light refreshments will be provided.
