About this event
The PEI Writers' Guild is hosting a one-of-a-kind fundraising event for our growing organization and we're asking that all of our friends; past, present, and (hopefully) future, join us!
Part of the celebrations will be:
A pop-up cocktail bar
sponsored and donated by our dear friends at Red Island Cider!
Writing themed cocktails will be for sale and created by special guest mixologist (and PEIWG board member) Evelyn Bradley!
100% of proceeds go towards the PEI Writers' Guild!
A silent auction for writers! Attendees will have the chance to bid on amazing items and experiences that any writer would love, including:
A felting workshop and lunch at Everygreen Café for two!
Pottery from local artists!
Singing and piano lessons from a local professional!
Professional services tailored specifically for writers from skilled industry professionals.
And more!
The debut of Arts Review Vol. XV
Be among the first to experience the 2026 edition, featuring the writing and readings of some of our most talented Island student writers!

Local authors, featuring our own PEIWG members, will share selections from some of their latest works

Immediately following the event we'll be hosting a PEIWG members' social free and open to all writers and fans of the written word!

Frequently asked questions
How much are tickets?
Tickets are $15 and can also be purchased at the door on the evening of the event. Limited space available though and last year the event was standing room only, so get your tickets in advance if you can!
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes entry to the event, special guest readings, the debut of Arts Review Vol. XV, access to the silent auction, and admission to the writers’ social afterward.
Where do the funds raised go?
100% of proceeds from ticket sales, cocktail purchases, and the auction go directly toward supporting the programming and operations of the PEI Writers’ Guild.
Can I make an additional donation?
Yes! Additional donations are welcome and can be made during the event or through our website.
How does the auction work?
Auction items will be previewed during the event, with bidding opening online afterward on the PEI Writers’ Guild Facebook page. Anyone can participate by placing bids directly in the comments on each item’s post. All proceeds support the PEI Writers’ Guild.
