This workshop is for you whether you are poetry curious or a poetry aficionado. Through a series of prompts and activities, you will be invited back-to-basics. We will explore a variety of poetic forms such as haiku, limerick, acrostic, black-out, and free verse. We will also explore different poetic techniques like rhythm, rhyme, alliteration, and more!
About the facilitator - Julie Bull
Julie Bull (they/them) is an award-winning poet and spoken word artist who has self-published two solo poetry collections and three community anthologies since 2020. They have performed at dozens of events, led numerous workshops, and are the co-founder of Queer Poetry Club in Charlottetown.
