About this event
Acadian country super group Beauxmont is ready to rock at Country sur le Cap
Set high on the gorgeous capes of Mont Carmel this gorgeous setting is outshone only by this glorious lineup.
Beauxmont is an Acadian band from New Brunswick that blends traditional Acadian music, Cajun/Louisiana influences, and Maritime energy. Their sound is designed to bring people together, whether on big stages and at festivals or at a kitchen party. Propelled by the album Volume 2, the group has established itself as an essential new force in Acadian music. With driving rhythms, catchy melodies, and contagious energy, the good times roll from the first chorus to the last.
Joining Beauxmont is Juno award nominee, Logan Staats. Hailing from Six Nations of the Grand River, Mohawk artist Logan Staats is one of the most electrifying voices in contemporary roots and rock music. He first gained national attention through CTV’s The Launch, where his debut single “The Lucky Ones” soared to #1 in Canada - and has since gone on to share stages with the likes of Eric Clapton and Steve Earle. He is joined by esteemed steel and slide guitar player Dan Walsh who toured extensively with Fred Eaglesmith.
Rounding out the performance are mother-son duo Karine et Vincent. The duo draw on a rich and vibrant musical heritage. Having grown up in kitchen parties in the Évangéline region (PEI), they were immersed in Acadian, Scottish-Canadian, Irish-Canadian, and Québécois traditions. Their repertoire, both traditional and contemporary, is driven by their strong bond and creativity, and is marked by their unique swing.
It will be a night to remember. Join us on the capes of Mont Carmel for Country sur le Cap.
