Karine et Vincent are a mother-son duo from Evangeline PEI. Karine Gallant has dedicated her life to preserving traditional Acadian tunes and dance; teaching and performing around the region, she is pleased to be joined by her son, Vincent Gallant-Côté who is carrying on the family tradition.
Cara Luft is a Canadian folk music icon. A founding member of The Wailin’ Jennys, she earned a Juno Award for her work on the album 40 Days. In 2014, she went on to co-found the folk duo The Small Glories. Touring extensively across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, Luft has garnered widespread recognition from both the Canadian Folk Music Awards and The Junos. Fresh off releasing a new solo record -we are pleased to welcome Cara back to the Island.
