About this event
"Winner of the 2025 Solo/Duo Category of the International Blues Challenge, Joce Reyome brings authenticity to their performances, turning audiences into active participants in a journey through heartbreak and humour. With performances on the Confederation Centre of the Arts main stage, at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, at JUNOfest 2024, at the East Coast Music Awards and more, they have captivated audiences across Canada."
Bobby Dove is a singer-songwriter with a voice as powerful as their storytelling. The trans/non-binary troubadour pays homage to the golden age of honky tonk, while crafting original, emotionally charged songs that “blend genres with the touch of a master.” (Mary Gauthier)
Born in Montreal, QC, Bobby has toured extensively throughout Canada and given highlight performances at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Dauphin’s Countryfest, National Arts Centre, Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht, AmericanaFest in Nashville and SXSW in Austin, TX.
Bobby Dove’s new full-length album “Fortune Teller” (April 2026), produced by Aaron Goldstein (Cowboy Junkies/City and Colour), features 13 new songs ranging from high-energy roadhouse twang to tear-jerking ballads, including a cowrite/duet with Grammy winning singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale.
