Acadian-Cajun Night with Vishten & Louis Michot
Tue, June 30, 2026, 7:30 PM (AST)

About this event
An unmissable opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of Francophone musical traditions in North America with PEI/Magdalen Islands band Vishtèn and Grammy-winning Cajun fiddler Louis Michot visiting from Louisiana.
Vishtèn is an award-winning Acadian group from PEI and the Magdalen Islands, known for their fiery blend of tradition and innovation. After the loss of co-founder Pastelle LeBlanc, bandmates Emmanuelle LeBlanc and Pascal Miousse embraced resilience and expansion, welcoming back longtime collaborator Megan Bergeron to continue their musical journey.
Louis Michot is best known as the fiddle player and lead-singer for the Grammy award winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, but his passion for Louisiana French and local folklore, and sustainability in the fastest disappearing landmass in the world are what fuels his career as a musician. With over 20 LPs under his belt, his music career continues to push the boundaries of the Louisiana French music traditions.
