Valmy is a singer-songwriter who has been following the ocean and finding home on the East Coast. Based in St. John's, NL, she uses her folk-influenced music to tell stories about loving and stumbling your way through the dark, drawing inspiration from nature and the complexity of relationships. Valmy released her debut full length album The In Between this past September 2023, exploring themes of wonder, loss, and healing. She continues to create and perform from a place of honesty to let the light in.

The Cafe is using a new Ticket Management system called Locarius. You can download tickets to their app, or just purchase and come to the cafe - we'll have a list of ticket holders on hand

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Groups of 1-2 will be free seating.

Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.

We suggest you arrive at least 15 mins early to avoid the rush. Show ends at 9:00pm.

Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.

Refunds can be requested up to 1 day before the show date. Please contact Coffee@batterycafe.ca to request a refund (less a small portion of the ticketing fee which is kept by Locarius)
