Island Jazz presents ES:MO for a dinner show at the Lobster On The Wharf in Charlottetown on Friday August 14 at 7pm. 

ES:MO is Elizabeth Shepherd & Michael Occhipinti - together two of Canada's most imaginative musicians, with a combined 19 JUNO Award nominations! ES:MO fuses the skills of two of our country's most acclaimed jazz musicians with their love of songwriting, R&B/soul and atmospheric pop. Their JUNO nominated debut The Weight of Hope (2021) focussed on interpreting songwriters such as Stevie Wonder, Bruce Cockburn, Nick Drake, Gordon Lightfoot, and Leonard Cohen, while their newest album Sunshine In My Bones (2026) shows off the duo's magical songwriting. Michael Occhipinti’s huge palette of guitar sounds and versatile skills merges with Elizabeth Shepherd’s soulful and ethereal voice and colourful keyboard work, and the two create honest and emotional work that always leaves a deep impression.

The show will be presented at the beautiful newly renovated ‘Park Room’ on the second level at the back of the building, overlooking the Charlottetown Harbour, with an extended covered deck that stretches out directly over the water.   The show will be cabaret style with a food and drink menu and service.
