About this event
After months of developing their original film and TV ideas through the PEI Writers’ Guild’s “Page to Pitch” screenwriting development program, 6 Island writers will now take the stage in the program’s finale event at City Cinema! In front of a live audience and a panel of guest judges, they will have their chance to pitch their projects for a share of $15,000 in project development funding, with the winner(s) announced at the end of the event!
Featuring 2026 finalists Bo Ding, Sara Underwood, Charlie Steele, Jay Gallant, Jeremy Thornhill, and Jorge Moreno. Presented by the PEI Writers' Guild, with support from Innovation PEI.
Tickets are a suggested minimum donation of $5 and can be purchased through the PEIWG website at www.peiwritersguild.com.

When and where is the Finale?
Sunday, September 13, 2026. Doors at 4:00 pm, event runs 4:30–6:00 pm, at City Cinema, 64 King St, Charlottetown.
How much are tickets?
We want these hard working writers to have the best audience possible for their pitches, so we've made the tickets a very accessible $5 per seat.
Do I need to reserve a ticket in advance?
Yes, please reserve a ticket in advance so we can plan for seating.
Can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
