Coltin Handrahan founded Stay Golden Custom in his senior year of high school and over the past 14 years has grown it into a custom apparel company with business clients from coast to coast and their production still taking place in rural Hunter River. For 14 years he ran the company as a non-technical founder, paying for off-the-shelf software that never quite fit how their business worked. Last December, that changed. Leveraging AI-powered tools, Coltin began building his own custom coded apps: quoting, production, and sales tools designed around exactly how his team works. The results reshaped his business, and the approach is within reach of any owner, no coding background required. This lunch and learn covers the real story: what he built, what it changed, and the specific tactics an Island business can use to leverage this technology and compete on the national stage.
