PEI CARES Brings Music & Compassion Together at the Trailside

PEI CARES (Companion Animal Rescue Education Society) Mission statement: To assist and advocate for companion animals in need and to educate and build a stronger animal protection movement.

Over the past year, PEI CARES has continued to make a difference for companion animals across the Island. We are currently fostering cats, kittens, and rabbits in need of safe housing and veterinary care, some of whom are available for adoption now.

In January, we launched our Vet Initiative, with support from select veterinary clinics and Global Pet Foods PEI, to provide $200 of veterinary care each month to two Islanders. This program has helped many families get their animals the necessary medical attention.

Our work is entirely volunteer-driven and community-funded. Every dollar donated goes directly to food and vet care for the animals in our foster care and back into the community to support current and future initiatives for animals in need.

Now we’re inviting Islanders to come together for our biggest fundraiser of the year:

Enjoy an unforgettable night with the Secret Set Fundraiser with performances from Craig Fair Productions. With a silent auction, 50/50 draw, and a full evening of music, it’s the perfect way to support animals while having a great time.

Let’s pack the house, raise vital funds, and make it a night to remember for the animals of PEI.
