There are hundreds of species of edible and medicinal plants all around us - along with some toxic ones. This presentation will explore more than 30 species that can be found in your own backyard, or are common along public trails and greenspaces. Edible plants highlighted will include sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy flavours, while others provide well-documented medicinal benefits. If you haven't yet been to one of my field workshops where we can taste, touch, and smell the plants, this is the next best thing!
