About this event
Nico Paulo is a Portuguese/Canadian singer-songwriter, visual artist and designer. She moved to Canada in 2014, and is now an essential part of Newfoundland’s celebrated music scene. Paulo’s highly anticipated debut LP, released in spring 2023 is a melodically dynamic, heart-baring collection of lush, sophisticated folk-pop arrangements that was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize of Canada, for the ECMA’s Folk Recording of the Year and winner of four MusicNL Awards: Singer-Songwriter of the year, Album of the year, Pop Artist of the year and Graphic Artist of the year.
Supporting Nico is a set from PEI / Newfoundland-based songwriter Jenina MacGillivray.
