Island at Heart is a show about every Islander, from North Cape to East Point, and everywhere in between. A show where we'll take you down the dirt roads, through the backdoor, and into the kitchen, to get a glimpse of Island life that you'll never see anywhere else.
Structured as a crash-course to Island life, a real "PEI-101" for those from away, Island at Heart brings the province to life in a way like no other.
Join your hosts Rusty Gallant and Jane Peters as they teach you how to be an Islander, with such important topics as:
- How to eat like an Islander (so that you never peel a new potato)
- How to get around the Island (like when you're headin' 'Up-East')
- How to talk like an Islander (for when ya need to slip into Town)
- How to understand the weather (in case it gets awful windy)
- How to blend in with the Islanders (if they ask 'who's yer father?')
Loaded with humour, and filled with fun, Island at Heart is your "PEI'd Survival Guide"; a celebration of all things Prince Edward Island, shared through stories, songs, and audience participation.
