Join us for an immersive traditional experiential Acadian meal on the grounds & gardens of the 1772 Doucet Log House and learn how the Acadians lived. The meal consists of recipes passed down through the generations using traditional ingredients, vegetables and herbs from the heritage gardens. Make your own butter and homemade ice cream while the Bannock is baked in the outdoor bread oven. The meal consists of an appetizer; followed by traditional Acadian Chicken Fricot (soup) with Bannock; Rustico Meat Pie with râpure and vegetables, along with homemade bread, pickles, and molasses. Seasonal dessert served with ice cream.

*Dietary and allergy restrictions should be indicated at the time of reservations. We will try our best to accommodate. Keep in mind our recipes are based upon traditional Acadian recipes.
